What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is a healing practice that uses a three part rhythmic breathing pattern that moves you very quickly past your mind. When your mind relaxes you can finally get present in your body, connect with your heart, and access a more expansive level of consciousness . In that space your nervous system calms, allowing you to feel and experience without your normal judgements and fears. Through using this simple tool of breathe it can support you in finally shedding any heavy weight you carry and strengthening your inner knowing.
I am a Breathwork Healer and have studied how to facilitate Breathwork for individuals and groups with both David Elliott and Erin Telford. I offer this practice in the comfort of your home or various groups that I lead through out the North East.
Who Should Receive This Treatment?
This treatment is perfect for anyone who is looking to move stuck energy, release unwanted emotion, breakthrough internal walls that are preventing personal growth or needing inspiration for creative projects. Most of us are carrying around pain, fear, and outdated stories about the world around us and who we are. Our bodies are very resourceful and have amazing abilities to store information in our cells, and in various corners of our bodies. Breathwork is a simple tool that supports us in finally shedding unwanted and out dated messages, and touch into a deep place that is pure, filled with love, and fully confident about life.
What to Expect in a Session
To start we will spend about 20 minutes checking in. This will give us a chance to talk about what is happening in your life and how it's affecting you emotionally and energetically. From there we can discuss if there are any blockages you want to release and/or any aspirations you are wanting to manifest.
Once we are done checking in, the session consists of 35 minutes of active breathing done lying down and guided by music. At the end there is a wonderful rest period for about 10-15 minutes where your consciousness will be very open and you can download any insights and realizations that come in. During the session I will be supporting you through the whole process, helping you with your breathing pattern, burning sage to cleanse your energy and guiding you through any releases you may need to have. Afterwards you will feel a combination of clarity, inspiration, openness and connection to others and yourself. Many people also feel a sense of gratitude, self love and creative inspiration.
In my own experience there is nothing like Breathwork to keep you open to life, stay grounded in your experiences and regularly heal your body, mind and spirit.
